Now there are no more problems storing or transporting the rods as Palms have now made them with a detachable handle, which allows the NanoAlloy "R" fighting blank to stay in one section, so the performance and sensitivity are not affected.

The 633SF has been the main stay for most of our slow jigging and is the middle power rating of the slow fall series. Pitching is effortless and smooth, the tip responds sharply with only the lightest turn of the reel. Whilst having a light taper it’s rated for jigs up to 180g but still has enough power to cope with deeper inshore marks or shallower wrecks. We have had Cod, ling even tope to over 25lb on this rod. Great fun and light gear!
The SF series of rods are specially designed for slow Jigging. Constructed with detachable handle and a quality NanoAlloy “R” blank for extra elasticity and sensitivity. “X” Carbonology wrappings prevent the rod twisting when fighting large fish, whilst increasing torque and overall toughness. Like all the Quest “a” rods they are incredibly light, work jigs effortlessly and a joy to use.
The new Metalwitch Quest "a" rods are beautifully finished using Fuji stainless steel k guides and reel seats and now includes a rod protector to stop damage to the blank, when placed in rod tube holders on the boat.
